Mini Glaciers
I think someone has a few little problems on the coast of Lake Huron. There are mountains of ice sliding into homes on Saginaw Bay in Linwood Michigan. They are not simply layers of ice a couple of inches thick but mini-mountains of ice, some of them house sized.
Here is the story. The video is off to the side where it says related to story.
I'm sure there are those who will blame this on global warming even though more and more real scientists are having serious second thoughts about that political hoax that has been perpetrated on the entire world.

What hoax? Nobody with any credibility denies the warming. That is occurring.
The question of human influence is open and the question of whether human activity can push the natural changes past the point where a recovery is possible are also open.
Anyone who denies that there is no atmospheric warming taking place, however, is simply a fool.
Well you can't fool mother nature. This reminds me of the rich folk on Plum Island who are watching their estates fall into the sea due to natural beach erosion.

Ya, and now they're saying the EXPERTS see the oceans rising faster than they feared.
Of course, the conferences on global climate change (changed from WARMING because that isn't QUITE proven, of course...it was a good term until they couldn't deny all the scientists who disagreed) don't even INVITE another viewpoint. THAT's fair and a great way to make plans, huh?
Don't worry, we'll be signing Kyoto soon, then we won't have to worry about our economy, we'll know we're just a trough for the whole world to slurp at while we pay for THEIR dirt.
Ducky. Global temps rose because of increased solar activity and peaked 11 years ago in 1998. Temps have been dropping since.
Note that when global warming was occurring on earth it was also occurring on Mars and Jupiter. How did we fossil-fuel burning capitalists achieve that?

Great one, two puch shoppie, and I had no idea of the temperature situation on the other planets at the same time as ours.

We checked out the beach... Unbelievable, the force (wrath) of nature. there are ice piles there that look like stone piles. The photos and videos are great but to actually SEE the size and might of this is awe inspiring. (I live about 10 miles away)

Anything bad happening in the world is due to either global warming or George W. Bush.
BZ is right. In fact, they've recently been ranting about Climate Change... that way they are covered no matter what happens. If it gets warmer or colder they're right!
In this case it seems to be high winds that are moving the ice, so I don't see how they can reasonably claim in has anything to do with climate change.
Pack your bags and head for the hills! Be sure to alert Al Gore first so he can take full credit for your survival.
The global warming thing is just a fad, like the "new ice age" scare of the mid 1970s. The global warming hucksters are trying to get us to forget the "new ice age" scare.
Gayle is right. Now they call it "Climate Change", which can mean warming OR cooling. This is a much more effective tool for politicians and pressure groups who want to control our lives and steal from us.
Natural climatic variations. It gets warm, it gets cold. No big deal.
Smart folks learn to get out of the way.
