China Doesn't Like Me

Our friend over at Born Again Redneck has a posting that leads to a site that allows you to see if your website is blocked in China.

Mine is!!!!!

I probably upset them way back when I posted this almost a year and a half ago.

Pictures Beyond Shocking.

I AM AGAINST THE DEATH PENALTY BECAUSE OF THIS. ARE YOU?

I'm against putting people against a wall without much in the way of trial or representation and just killing them ad-hoc. I see that as a considerably different interpretation of "the death-penalty" especially how it's is carried out.

We have had many people exonerated on death row. In Michigan, we just had a guy who died in prison of colon cancer because he did not recieve medical care in prison. His crime: fleeing police for speeding...

I guess what you are insenuating is that he wouldn't have died if he hadn't been in prison?

Typical left argument to transfer responsiblity to someone else. Look at it this way, If he hadn't been fleeing the police for speeding, he wouldn't have been in jail, and would have had the opportunity to seek medical attention.

After discovering last night that Gawfer has been blocked as well, I spoke with my wife about it and she reminded me that I have Christian links as well as conservative content which would be reason to be banned in that communist hole.

After reviewing the pictures, my heart has been effected in a way I don't yet fully understand. I noticed in the photos that all but one person who was executed was either a youth or female.

Just the description of the pictures gave me the willies and I could not bring myself to look at them.

Do I favor the death penalty?

I do not like it, but it should be an option, rarely used, on cold-blooded murderers. China kills people for crimes that do not warrant it. I corresponded briefly with an immigrant from Taiwan who translated the signs for me. One of the women was a murderer and the rest were other crimes like accepting a bribe or prostitution.

Gawfer-It WAS the prison's responsibility to provide medical care to the man. He was only sentenced to three years for fleeing and eluding the police for speeding. If you don't think that's wrong, I don't see why you would find what the Chinese are doing as being wrong. BTW- I am critizing a Democratic Governor for not doing her job in overseeing the prison system, so I'm sure that should make you feel better...

Like Patrick, I can't bring myself to look at them either, Shoprat. My imagination works overtime as it is.

That's a neat link, and if the pictures are as bad as my imagination says it is, you're probably right about why you are being blocked. Unlike your liberal visitor here, I'm trying to stay on the topic of this post. Liberals are very good at changing the subject! If they were as good at using common sense as they are at changing a subject or avoiding an issue, the world would be far better off. :)

Mine is blocked, but I'm not surprised. Since this site is blocked, they're prone to block most anything.

The death penalty is a necessary evil, and completely Biblical. There were certain crimes for which God demanded the transgressor put to death, and a few more that I would gladly add to the list.

China, unfortunately, seems to be using it as a means of depopulating their country, and many of the victims of their system are guilty of "intolerant speech" or attitudes against the government. Give America some time and a new administration and we'll be right alongside them.

I'm available in China, but I went to word press...

Just a matter of time.

Well I can't get to China from here...Oh well just think of all the content the little commies are missing.. LOL

The Death penalty excuse the left uses is laughable. "What about the innocent men that are on death row?"
What about the guilty ones that were freed by Liberal judges only to go out and kill or rape again?

Our system is not perfect and one day any of us could be found guilty of something we didn't do, However your odds decrease if you are not where crimes are committed when they are committed......

We might as well abandon the DP now, the Dems are running the show now and Crime will climb, jobs will be cut and our moral decay will be in full swing...

The death penalty should be safe, legal and rare.

If it isn't, then we'll be executing people in back alleys with coathangers, and no one wants that.

Frankly TIm, That was about a dumb statement for you to make. It was certainly below you.

My point that I thought I had made VERY CLEAR is personal accountability. Prisons are not a place to find advanced medical care. Nor should they be. Basic emergency care only. You got a tooth ache? too bad. don't violate the law to get free dental work. Sad the guy died, but TIm, part of life is learning to dance with the girl you brought.

From my understanding, and that admittedly is limited, people are currently being executed because of religion. Christians mostly, but there have been occasions when budhist monks have also been killed. I have a problem with that.
