About Me
- Name: shoprat
- Location: Michigan, United States
From High School I went into the Navy where I served a little over two years and got discharged for medical reasons. I studied and trained for the Ministry but am temperamentally unsuited for that job so I entered retail and food management for several years. I really wanted to write fiction so I decided to get a factory job while I did it. I found that I am actually happy producing things in a factory and I have written a couple of novels, which I hope never see the light of day :-D.

This has me really curious now .... I just gotta find out more...
I agree. My husband said he's heard of this from awhile back. It will be interesting to see what develops from this.
Navy has been talking about this for 20 years. I read of future subs that will split the Hydrogen out of sea water to power their propulsion engine...
Problem is that it takes as much energy to split up a water molecule as it produces putting it back together or even more resulting in a net loss of energy.
Pretty cool, but your point above is the reality of the hydrogen boom.
To get the energy for hydrogen we need oil or nuclear energy.
(Or really efficient solar, which isn't here yet.)
