Library Computer
Using a public computer. How embarrassing.
Update Friday
I apologize for not visiting as many blogs as I usually do but Library computers have a timer on them. And there is a waiting list
I am a college graduate who earns his living working as an hourly on a factory floor. I have found that I prefer this to retail management and customer service, which I have also done though admittedly it does not pay as well. I am a Bible Believing Christian and politically I am center-right. This is just a place where I share my thoughts on anything that catches my mind.

Waitaminnit; are you telling me that I am NOT the only person on the planet with a dial-up connection? I thought I was the only dial-up Luddite extant.
BZ
Actually BZ it's a cable modem and for some reason it gave out (occasionally they do) and my ips does not recognize the replacement modem that THEY gave me. They'll correct the problem on Monday.
Hope you're back online in a jiffy!
That's sucks...
I didn't realize BZ was on a dial-up modem. I don't know how in the world he loads some of the blogs he does, including mine.
Regarding your having to sink to using a public computer, well, we must do what we must do. I hope they get your problem fixed when they say they will. Good luck! :)
Okay, I feel better; your cable modem kicks the living crap outta my dial-up. Ah, sigh. The world is right again.
Gayle: yup. Dial-up. Most of EVERYONE'S videos I can't watch. Can't watch 'em at work: surfing software kills me. Can't watch 'em at home, don't have the speed. I can only watch videos when I occasionally use my wife's computer at her house, in the midst of Actual Civilization.

Library computers suck!! I found that out when I went to visit my parents this summer. The library didn't have high speed and like you said there is a major time limit.
