How Dare You?!

I don't really think much of Oprah Winfrey. In fact I don't care for her at all. In my eyes she is little more than a sanctimonious, Politically Correct, self-righteous bag of wind.

Seems some on the left are unhappy with her too.

The women of America were supposed to unite behind Madam Hillary to make her the first woman president in history and the "most influential woman on television" wasn't with the program. She had the audacity to support Obama.

For the first time in history we actually have a shot at putting a woman in the White House and Oprah backs the black MAN. She’s choosing her race over her gender.

How dare she think for herself (for once)!

It is somewhat ironic. Oprah being a black woman she was between a rock and a hard place on who to support.

And so we have a much better idea of what trumps what, do we not?

Since Oprah lives here in Chicago, and her being a celebrity and all, she may be personal friends with Obama and that might be a factor.

That said, Shoprat, I can find no fault with your description of Oprah, other than to say that I think you may have gone too easy on her. :-)

I agree with Seth wholeheartedly, Shoprat!

I also think that as Americans we have the right to back whomever we choose and that includes celebrities. To call her a "traitor" because she isn't backing Hillary is ridiculous. They show their stupidity by voting for someone simply on the grounds that she's a woman... and sometimes I wonder about that (whether she's a woman or not). LOL!

LOL. Could you be a little less ambiguous, Shoprat!

I was actually glad to see her support Obama, not Hillary, and I think a lot of women should have been too.

While a lot of women seem to think that this should be a "historic vote" to put one of them in office, Oprah figured out that it might not be the right one. Women are holding tons of positions of power in the country, governors, judges, CEO's, etc. To say that the first one with a chance has to be elected is crazy. Instead, find the best woman for the job.

Oprah looked as saw that the current woman might not be the best person for the job, and tossed her support to someone else. The screaming feminists should use the same logic
