Young Christians Unwelcome in San Francisco
The article further said Earlier this week, the Board of Supervisors passed a resolution condemning the "act of provocation" by what it termed an "anti-gay," "anti-choice" organization that aimed to "negatively influence the politics of America's most tolerant and progressive city."
San Francisco has an ego problem as well as a tolerance problem. Everything they accused the Christians of is far more true of militant Islam which they refuse to condemn. (In totally non-theological terms, there are several major differences between Christian and Islamic "fundamentalists", the most important being that we don't kill people for not sharing our beliefs or abandoning them, or failing to live by our standards. )
When Christians are pointedly made unwelcome by the city's board of supervisors, freedom and the first amendment are both threatened.

From everything I've heard, it sounds like that city is lost. The radicle left has taken over, and the people have lost the will to fight it. This sounds like a last gasping attempt. It probably will involve outside intervention to recover, which probably won't happen.
ABF, San Francisco has ONLY radical left. There is no one left to fight. They're all either commies or decadent debauchees who don't care as long as they get their pleasure. The rest of us left and am I glad that I moved back to the USA.
There is a huge reason why Christians don't cut the heads off of people that don't or won't believe in God.
One of the freedoms God gave us was CHOICE! Along with sending his son to save us, he gave us the choice to either believe and be reborn in him and live forever, or don't believe and die.
We don't have to chop the heads off, or blow up schools to force people to convert because we have the knowledge that they'll get whats coming in the end when they face judgement!
ABFREEDOM- you were high when you wrote that, right? San Francisco is probably the most livable city in the country. I have a couple friends who live there and they hardly feel lost.
PJC- Well, at least you lived there, so to each his own...
Although they do not seem as obnoxious as Fred Phelps, gays and pro-choice groups will be irritated by these people. That's not a good reason to deny them a permit to gather and do their thing, as long as they behave themselves. People annoy me all the time, which unfortunately, is not illegal.
SF may be a great place for some to live but it also has a major poverty and homelessness problem. I for one would not want to live there anyway, to close to the San Andreas Fault.
"ABFREEDOM- you were high when you wrote that, right?"
Must have been ... I'll just go into ignore mode...
Oh, my. But SF is apparently fine with naked folks up copulating on floats. Twisted, just twisted. I'm glad I don't live there!
