Legitimate Human Rights Abused

Parents have a human right to raise their children according to their traditions, values and customs, but like all human rights it includes responsibilities. When the responsibilities are not met along with the rights, then the rights will be abused.

It's troubling when parents instill horrible beliefs into their children and some would use this as an excuse to have the state exercise greater control in how children are raised. This would create more problems than it would solve.

So what do you do when parents instill a horrid set of beliefs in their children and how to you rescue the children who have been raised wrong?

I include the following video with extreme trepidation because it is not pretty at all, especially when you listen to these two potentially cute, young teen aged Nazis sing and what they are singing. Equally disturbing is how, except for the words of their song, they come across as typical young teen aged girls.

As I watched it I felt absolutely no contempt for these two girls; they are singing what they have been taught to believe. I pity them but God have mercy on whoever molded them when they were young because I have a very hard time doing it.

Now before we say too much about this Prussian Blue please think about this. While they have been taught to hate non-whites how many kids today are being taught to hate whites, Christians, moral traditionalists and America itself? It's all part of the same problem.

May Lamb and Lynx Gaede (the singers of Prussian Blue) find the true Christ of true Christianity, and may His love liberate them from the hate that others have poured into their young hearts. They are not beyond the reach of the Son of God.

Note: I came to this video following a trail of links that started at Brainster's Blog. I'll give him an indirect Hat Tip since he started me thinking about this.

I repeat my earlier question. How do we combat this without giving the state power over how we raise our children? This is unacceptable and the state telling people how to raise their children is equally unacceptable. What do we do?

Well bro, I've got a legit hearing handicap; a pretty bad service connected hearing disability...

I can't understand what they are saying very well. :(

I'm not sure what the answer is; you start getting into freedom of speech issues, and if it's suppressed in any way, no matter how good the intentions are, then what's next??

The only thing I can do is teach my kids better, and to be BETTER than this and hope they can change the minds of any kids that might think this way by being a leader, a positive force of moral principles and independence instead of being a co-dependent follower with zero morals.

These girls, although I can't pick up all their words, are undoubtedly followers needing proper guidance.

It seems like parents who raise their children thus are something we have to live with in a free society, and at best we can hope that exposure to and interaction with those who are "different", as the kids grow into adulthood, will make them realize that we are all equal in the eyes of G-d.

i think it was abc did a piece on these two and their family - primetime or one of those type of shows...made big news at the time (year ago maybe)...

point of the show was that their parent's are not only teaching them this garbage, but encouraging that lifestyle....

unfortunately, they're going to be two pretty messed up kids as they get into the teen years and beyond...

seth and gunz make good points - we (those of us with kids) have to be better at not doing this to our kids at all - teaching them better not to hate or disrespect anyone...i don't know any other way..

It really is a shame, Shoprat, but no, we can't give power to either the state or the federal government over how parents raise their children. I agree with all the commenters above. As parents all we can do is teach our own children what is right and we can do that best by setting good examples. Heaven help us if we ever let the state dictate how we can or cannot teach our children!

I do think that this is a form of child abuse, but it's not physical child abuse. We can't have anyone dictating private morality, even though sometimes mental child abuse can be as devastating, and maybe sometimes even moreso, than physical child abuse.

Wow, they are really off key; in their singing and playing as well as in their message. Everyone else is right, though. Yeah, it is an unacceptable message couched in ignorance and inculcated by the parents, but that's just a risk you run in a free society.

Personally, I'd rather deal with these two than some kids of the same age whose parents have showed and taught them to join a gang, participate in drive-by shootings, do drugs, leech the welfare system, milk Medicare, and produce multiple offspring out of wedlock. Our nanny-state government has made that sort of lifestyle a viable one, whereas White supremacists almost have to insulate themselves to make their worldview work. In my experience, most "White supremacists" who teach hate to their children (and yes, in areas I've lived, I have run across them and lived near their ilk) are chickensh*t, and would be about as likely to confront a minority with their views as the PETA people are to dump red paint on bikers instead of old ladies.

gunz I'm deaf in one ear myself. Didn't like what I heard there.

Seth Someday their lives may be saved by a black man.

d_m Yes they are getting some attention right now and they are being messed up.

gayle no we can't give this power to the state.

A&C Off key is the kindest thing I'd call their singing. If it wasn't for their notorious message nobody would even notice them.
