Listening to this beautiful song right now. Ah, the good memories of the good old days when the Carpenters were on the airwaves!

Having had a bout with anorexia myself, I still grieve over the loss of Karen Carpenter.

This is an example of a real song: easy to understand, clean and hopeful, inspirational, the music fits the lyrics and so much more.

Thanks.

Yes indeed she was one of the best.
They just don't make them like that any more.

I have always loved the Carpenters. Karen had such an expressive and wonderful voice, it was tragic when she passed away.

I have never been anorexic and can therefore not begin to understand what that must be like, but it has always struck me that it must be a terrible condition if someone like Karen who was surrounded by people who adored her could not be helped.

BTW, thank you for the song. :-)

An instructive post. People to really know who they want to reach and why or else, they'll have no way to know what they're trying to achieve. People need to hear this and have it drilled in their brains..
