Alberta May Rise Above the Other Nine

At least one Canadian province is having the courage to admit that the Canadian healthcare system is an unmitigated disaster. Alberta may soon defy Ottawa and allow for private medical care. While there is a lot of politics involved, hopefully Canada's conservative provinces will be able to lead the rest back to freedom. The history of the rest of Canada blackmailing Alberta is also intriguing.

Go Alberta!! Lead Canada back to freedom!!!

Hell, their Supreme Court has already called Quebec's version of the system unconstitutional. It will be interesting to see what happens with it.

Actually, the supreme court came down and said that Quebec has a legal right to provide alternatives if Canada cannot reasonably provide health care in a timely manner. So it's opened the door for private systems.

Even if they penalize us, we don't care, the systems broke and has to be changed. We've been robbed for to many years.

What with S.D. defying the overpowering federal power and now Alberta defying theirs... I think States/province's rights are finally gaining ground!
