I am a college graduate who earns his living working as an hourly on a factory floor. I have found that I prefer this to retail management and customer service, which I have also done though admittedly it does not pay as well. I am a Bible Believing Christian and politically I am center-right. This is just a place where I share my thoughts on anything that catches my mind.

From High School I went into the Navy where I served a little over two years and got discharged for medical reasons. I studied and trained for the Ministry but am temperamentally unsuited for that job so I entered retail and food management for several years. I really wanted to write fiction so I decided to get a factory job while I did it. I found that I am actually happy producing things in a factory and I have written a couple of novels, which I hope never see the light of day :-D.

My grandfather owned a carryout and he had a whole rack of magazines and comic books. I would go down to his store, grab Richie Rich, Archie and Spiderman and read for HOURS on the cases of bottled pop in the stockroom! LOL

As an aside
Mr Weatherbee's first name is Waldo and Miss Grundy's first name is Geraldine. Big Moose's last name is Mason (to my knowledge he has not been given a "real" name) and "his girl" Midge's last name is Klump. To my knowledge, Big Ethel does not appear to have been given a last name.
Shoprat-I am pretty positive that he was Forsythe Pendleton Jones III, because his dad was named Forsythe Pendleton Jones Jr.
Big Ethel did have a last name, it was Ethel Muggs, unless they changed it.
ebyjo I am not questioning you in fact I acknowledged you were right and ab5sy were right (though he had a typo). It's just that I never read the names of Jughead's parents anywhere (or Reggie's parents for that matter) so I was unaware of it.

Jughead's mom was Gladys. She had the same nose as him!!! Real "olive oil" looking woman...very thin.
Archie's parents were named Fred and Mary Andrews. I never remember reading about Reggie's mom. His dad's name was Ricky Mantle.
Sorry, I just read them a lot!!! LOL.
