Once Again I Remember
Of the many songs that Karen Carpenter recorded, this was her personal favorite (according to her brother and others who knew her).
I am a college graduate who earns his living working as an hourly on a factory floor. I have found that I prefer this to retail management and customer service, which I have also done though admittedly it does not pay as well. I am a Bible Believing Christian and politically I am center-right. This is just a place where I share my thoughts on anything that catches my mind.

terrific singer and songwriting team! unfortunately she had some serious personal problems...great tune....
I should have known that you liked Karen - one of my all time favorites too. You're probably a bit younger than me so I wouldn't call her "the greatest female vocalist of my time.
I would say, "the greatest female vocalist since Doris Day." By that I mean Doris' 40s Big Band stuff. What a short and tragic life Karen had.
Haven't heard her in years ... thanks...
dm the more I learned of her, the more it seems she slowly committed suicide.
pjc we all have our favorites.
abf Her recordings are still out there. Her last gold single was 12 years after she died.
