Regarding Mr. Zuniga

Oh yes ... Markos Moulitsas Zuniga

Betsy's Page has a posting on Mr. Zuniga and his rantings at the DailyKos (or Daily Cuss) and I followed her link to read the article she was discussing.

A few lines from the article need comments.

The myth of Karl Rove, which looms over American politics, and the conviction that the party's wins or losses are a matter of tactics, not substance, has left the Democrats looking for their own master tactician. And some in the party seem to want to see Moulitsas in that role.

I hear a lot of conservative commentators criticizing the Democrats for exactly that reason. People need substance and substance is what wins elections. What you do after you win (a point brought by the writer later in the article) helps determine whether or not you get re-elected which is a big part of winning and a point on which Mr. Zuniga is quite weak.

“They want to make me into the latest Jesse Jackson, but I'm not ideological at all,” Moulitsas told me, “I'm just all about winning.”

Not ideological at all? Actually that is a very scary thing he just said; he just acknowledged that he is the actual "win at any cost" person he accuses Bush of being.

He has the most-visited blog in existence, yet I ask how many of his visitors are like me, people who think he is just plain nuts.

Most of his visitors are moonbats, though, who believe that if they had their own Rove that would change everything.

The truth is that Rove is a strategist, but still needs to be given a broad plan to work within.

The problem with the Democrats is even if Roves (evil:) clone were to show up at Dean's right hand he'd still have to plan to devise a strategy for.
