Bush is Planning a Coup

Or he already did one.

One way or the other he is planning to end democracy in America.

It is time to think about the “unthinkable.”

The Bush Administration has both the inclination and the power to cancel the 2008 election.

The GOP strategy for another electoral theft in 2008 has taken clear shape, though we must assume there is much more we don’t know.

I'm not going to lose a lot of sleep over these paranoid ravings of the extreme left. But I started thinking as I read the screed. The GOP stole the 2000 election even though every recount, both official and unofficial came up with a Bush taking Florida -- One of the unofficial ones was done by CNN and the NYT (friends of neither Bush nor the GOP) and they painfully conceded that Bush did win.

They stole the Ohio electoral votes too.

Now they are going to steal the election in 2008.

OK! Let's suppose we did!!

What happened in 2006? Were their thieves off on vacation that day?

It is curious that even though there is evidence of considerable voter fraud in several states that went Democratic in the last election, the GOP is not screaming about the elections being stolen. I guess adults know and understand that they will lose elections as well as win them, especially when they fail to live up to their principles. (The main reason the GOP lost in 06 was because so many were discouraged by the failures of the GOP that they just stayed home on election day.) The left believes that history that history has given them a birth right to govern and it is impossible for them to lose an honest election.

I find in curious though that they are anticipating a loss in 2008 and so they are putting out pre-emptive accusations of theft and cheating. I thought the Democrats had this one in the bag. Of course the fact that so many of comments say that 9-11 was an inside job tells me a lot about these people.

Several of the comments mention concentration camps being built? I don't know of any.

The "Reality Based Community". They would be entertaining if they weren't serious.
